BIBF is now offering courses in Arabic as a Foreign Language. No previous knowledge of Arabic language is required. Learners will acquire the language in a guided step by step approach, which will take them from beginners' to advanced levels in multiple stages. Participants will be able to converse confidently and effectively. Classes will be conducted by an experienced lecturer with room size limited to allow meaningful interaction and learning.

Methodology
The BIBF "Arabic for Expats" course goal is to get participants speaking the Arabic language quickly and with fluency. It will focus mainly on speaking as this is the most essential skill in learning any language; however this will be integrated with other language skills as required. BIBF "Arabic for Expats" will allow you to learn vocabulary and grammar as they occur in the proper context - while using only Arabic in both the receptive and productive skills.
Level - 1 is aimed at elementary level of competence where basic knowledge of language is sufficient to communicate in a very limited way, with the simplest oral and listening tasks and situations. Participants will build a foundation of fundamental Arabic vocabulary and essential language structure. They will begin to learn Arabic and speak with confidence. Furthermore, they will master basic conversational skills, including greetings and introductions, simple questions and answers, shopping and much more.
Level - 2 is aimed at the intermediate level of competence required for building a foundation and navigating their surroundings. Participants will learn Arabic fundamental vocabulary and essential language structure from greetings and introductions to simple questions and their answers. They will gain the confidence to talk about their environment such as giving and getting directions, telling time, dining out, shopping, and enjoying social interactions.
Level - 3 is aimed at the advanced level of competence required to build a foundation of fundamental vocabulary and essential language structure in order to meet the participants' immediate communication and learning needs. Participants will comprehend information on familiar topics in contextualized settings and produce sustained conversation with others on an expanding variety of general topics.
Course Facts
Each level is a total of 180 hours (60 hours each stage).
Sessions are 3 hours from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Sessions are held 2 days a week.
Days are determined based on demand (Monday – Wednesday OR Sunday – Tuesday).
