Training Success for Future HR Professionals

Manama, Bahrain - A group of 24 candidates were honored at a brief graduation ceremony organized at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) for achieving a success rate of hundred percent upon completing the Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP). The Programme which was offered earlier this year by BIBF in association with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD–UK), aims at providing young fresh graduates with the HR tools and experience to help boost the Kingdom’s future growth.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Garry Muriwai, BIBF Director and Mrs. Angela Mulvie, External moderator- CIPD (U.K.), Mr. Kadri Rizk Head of the Leadership & Management Centre at BIBF and Dr. Vijayalaxmi Moovala,CIPD programme manager-BIBF were present at the ceremony held at BIBF.
“In today's competitive business climate, it is very essential to have HR and training staff who are fully qualified and thoroughly competent across a wide range of disciplines” Mr. Kadri Rizk . “The CIPD Programmes build a solid foundation in management and HR principles covering a wide range of topical management concepts which enable candidates to 'speak the language' of business while driving forward ethical people management policies and procedures,” added Mr. Rizk.
Participants of the third cohort of Certificate in Personnel Practice [CPP] and first cohort of Certificate in Training Practice [CTP] will be graduating in October 2009. In view of the demand for the two programmes BIBF announced admission for the next cohorts of Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP) and Certificate in Training Practice (CTP) programmes, which will commence at BIBF in October 2009.
