Orientation Day for the BIBF Foundation Year / University of Wales Validated Diploma Program

Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) announced the beginning of Cohort 4 of the University of Wales Validated Diploma Program in Banking and Finance. This year 70 students were accepted into the BIBF Foundation year.

The semester started off with an Orientation Day which was attended by the new students and their parents. The BIBF was represented by Mr. Husain Al Ajmi who greeted the new group with a compelling speech about the challenge of being a university student, and the Academic & Executive Learning Centre team, headed by Dr. Mohammed Al Khozai. The students were briefed about various issues related to their course of study.

This is a three- year program where students study a year of foundation followed by two years in Bahrain utilizing BIBF’s excellent facilities and outstanding faculty.

Upon finishing the three years, students receive an internationally recognized Diploma from the University of Wales. In addition, successful students can be transferred to Bangor, UK and complete a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance at the University of Wales.

The program’s objective is to equip students with the necessary knowledge required for professionals entering the banking.
