BIBF Signs Training Agreement with Standard Chartered Bank.

Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance has signed a training agreement with Standard Chartered Bank yesterday the 25th September 2007 to train and develop 15 young Bahraini graduates in its Management Trainee Development Program.

Announcing the agreement, Mr. Darshan Singh, Head of Leadership and Management Learning Center at BIBF said: “We are delighted to partner with Standard Chartered Bank in this important initiative and have prepared a tailor made program incorporating study at BIBF in various areas including :Banking, Accounting and Leadership and Management courses with challenging on-the-job training assignments”.

“We at BIBF are addressing the Human Resource Development needs creating a critical mass of highly qualified professionals for the financial sector in Bahrain” added Mr. Singh.

On the other hand, Mr. Sami Mahfouz acting CEO of Standard Chartered Bank said: “Our plans for Standard Chartered business growth in Bahrain are ambitious, and that means we have to expand our own management capability. This can only be achieved through a highly trained and qualified staff”.
