New Graduates join BIBF Initiative
10th May 2007

As part of BIBF’s Initiative to provide career opportunities in the Financial Industry for outstanding young talent, Group 3 of the Graduate Recruitment and Career Development Program began their 3 months Induction Program on May 6, 2007 at the BIBF premises.

Head of Leadership and Management Learning Center, Darshan, proudly welcomed and congratulated the graduates on having been selected by the banks for this program. “The aim of this program is to attract one hundred fresh graduates per annum for the financial industry and follow their career progression over a five year period” said Mr. Singh. The selected graduates will undergo comprehensive career development combined with structured classroom training with challenging on-the-job assignments supported by a mentoring scheme within the participating banks.

Also present were the Senior Managers of the Banks employing the graduates – Ahli United Bank, Bank Muscat International, Bahrain Saudi Bank, Citibank, Gulf Finance House, HSBC, Kuwait Finance House and The International Banking Corporation - who gave brief presentations on their personal experiences with graduate training programs and provided guidelines for the graduates to follow throughout their career development.

“This is a great opportunity for other banks & financial institutions to sponsor young graduates for this professional Career Development Program” said Hussain Al Ajmi, Division Head, BIBF Learning Centers.  He added that the recruitment and selection process is currently underway for Group 4. Graduates who wish to apply for the September 2007 program should send a CV and a letter detailing their achievements, life experiences and personal career goals to email: graduates@bibf.com
