BIBF Hosted Training Managers’ Briefing

The Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF) held its Annual Training Managers’ meeting on Tuesday 17 th July, 2007 at BIBF premises.

The purpose of the meeting was to highlight BIBF's achievements in terms of training and consultation during the year 2007 and outline the Institute's full program blueprint for the year 2008 in consultation with the training managers.

BIBF's Deputy Director Mr. Hussain Ismail opened the meeting emphasizing BIBF's prime target which is utilizing the Institute's resources to respond to the Training Managers demands and help them achieve their training objectives.

Mr. Husain Al Ajmi, Acting Division Head of BIBF Learning Centers, on the other hand, indicated that BIBF can never be satisfied about the level of services it offers to its member organizations as it always endeavors to offer higher level of services to satisfy its clients and achieve the national Human Resource Development.

The Heads of Learning Centers briefed the audience on the various types of high profile professional qualifications and programs on offer in association with top universities in the U.S and the UK. Among such programs is the Qualification in Islamic Insurance (Takaful) in association with the CII Academy in London which is the first of its type in the world and the Professional Diploma in Financial Services Management (PDFSM) as well as the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) Certification Program.

The attendees were also briefed on the progress and planning of the graduate and under-graduate programs offered by the BIBF's Academic and Executive Learning Center namely, Darden - Gulf Executive Development Program, BIBF-DePaul MBA Program , Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in Human Resource Development, Master of Science in Public Administration and Wales Validated Diploma in Banking and Finance.

Presentations were followed by a question and answer session. This interactive approach, as part of BIBF strategy, leads to a more effective training process, which fulfils market needs.
