International Seminar on Team-building Skills

As part of its Executive Education Series, a high profile international seminar on organizational effective teamwork and collaboration has been recently concluded at the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF). The seminar titled “Building and Sustaining High Performing Teams” was run during the period Feb 4-6 2008 and was attended by 22 execituves representing various economic sectors in Bahrain.

Dr. Martin Davidson, Associate professor of Business Administration at the Darden School of Business facilitated the workshop. “The Program was designed to enhance the participants understanding of the value that functional teams can have on business processes and equip them with the key skills in leading and participating effectively in teams particularly within the Bahrain business context,” said Professor Davidson.

Head of Academic and Executive Learning Center at BIBF, Dr. Mohammed Al Khozai commenting on this seminar expressed his thanks to Professor Davidson and the candidates who participated and contributed to the success of this event. “This workshop comes at a time were executive cotemporary knowledge has become an essential element of creating highly qualified professional management teams within organizations,” said Dr. Al Kozai. “Through this and other executive seminars, BIBF endeavors to contribute towards offering high caliber programs and workshops designed to improve the managerial skills of executives in Bahrain and the region”
