BIBF - Wales Students Honored

Five students from the 4th batch of BIBF-Wales Validated Diploma Program in Banking and Finance were recently honored and rewarded for their academic achievements. The students’ names were posted on the director list for the year 2009 at the University of Wales in Bangor, UK. The recipients of this were: Nadia Mahmood Khurshid, Mariam Adnan Kamal, Noof A.Karim Ebrahim, Mariam Tamer Ghaly, Aysha Ahmed Abdulla.

Dr. Mohammed Al Khozai, Head of Center, Academic & Executive at BIBF expressed his delight in recognizing and honoring such industrious and diligent students. “As a policy, we reward our top students and in conjunction with the University of Wales encourages our students to be high achievers. “The Director’s List is the honor that high fliers like to see their names on. Recognition is one side of the coin, the other being the financial reward that these deserving students receive,” he added.

BIBF Director Mr. Garry Muriwai congratulated all recipients of and stressed the importance to all of being the best that you can be. “There are significant opportunities in the Bahrain Financial sector for high achievers and the results of these students reflect the caliber of the Wales programs”, he said.
