Graduation Ceremony of the BIBF- Gulf Executive Development Program (GEDP 10)

Under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj the Governor of Central Bank of Bahrain, more than 60 Individuals and organizations were honored at a reception and awards dinner yesterday 27th March, at the Bahrain - Movenpick Hotel

The awards highlight the significant efforts and commitment demonstrated by participants of the program and members of the Steering Committee led by Dr. Fareed Al Mulla, and the tremendous support invested in the program by the Government and the sponsoring organizations.

The event was attended by members of the Steering Committee, Professor. Sherwood Frey, of the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, Banks CEOs and top officials from the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). Also present were representatives of sponsoring organizations, graduates and their families and BIBF management team, staff and faculty.

The awards were presented by H.E Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj who delivered a speech congratulating the graduates for successfully completing this highly challenging and competitive program.

Other key note speakers included Professor Sherwood Frey of Darden Graduate School of Business who expressed his pride to partner with BIBF and support its objective in developing the Gulf Region’s future leadership.

BIBF’s Deputy Director Mr. Hussain Ismail expressed his thanks to all participating organizations for their continued support of the Program and acknowledged the high caliber of participants as future leaders outlining the importance of such a leading Program which has proven to be a real value-added benefit to both the participants and their sponsoring organizations.

Mr. Fahad Bin Rajab, from the Gulf International Bank, delivered the participants remarks where he acknowledged the significant efforts and commitment of his colleagues and thanked all contributing parties for the distinctive work which has made the Program successful and unique.
