The Banking Center is BIBF's flagship Learning Center. The Center offers a wide variety of programs aimed at developing leaders and managers in banking and finance industry in Bahrain and in the region. The Center provides Public Offerings, Special Offerings, External Offerings and Professional Qualifications Offerings. While Public Offerings attract participation from various banks and financial institutions, Special Offerings are completely customized programs. The Public Offerings and Special Offerings primarily focus on critical skill-sets in areas such as Credit, Treasury, Derivatives, Trade Finance, Risk Management, Capital Markets, Anti-money Laundering and Regulatory Compliance. Advanced Credit Program, and Branch Manager Program are very unique public offerings from the Banking Center.

The Banking Center also offers a variety of Professional Qualification programs, namely, Banking Studies Diploma Program (BSDP), Professional Diploma in Financial Services Management, CFA, Professional Risk Manager (UK) Program, ACI (France) Program, Investment Representatives Program ( Series-7 Program, a mirror image of NSDA, USA program), ACAMS (USA), and ICA-IDC (UK).

The External Offerings bring experts from outside the region to present the latest developments and trends in the field of banking and finance. The year 2009 will have special focus on External programs. In the year 2009, we are planning to launch 12 external programs with experts from USA, UK, Germany and India.
