Why are tests used?
Research has shown that a well designed Assessment Centre is the most effective tool available for assessing individuals in both individual and group based environments for selection or development.
Psychometric tests can guarantee a valid and fair selection of candidates for specific jobs, ensuring that potential candidates match the requirements set by organizations in terms of competencies and person specifications. As a result, psychometric tests will reduce the cost associated with selection error, increase objectivity in decision making and improve the public relations and business image of organisations.

| Competency Based Interviews |
Competency based interviews are behavioural interviews including questions that ask candidates to demonstrate that they have a particular skill or a "key competency" the firm is looking for. Candidates will be asked to do this, using situational examples from their life experiences, to illustrate their personality, skill set and individual competencies to the interviewer.
